Baby animals are everywhere in mid-spring, and their devoted mothers are never far behind. Rebecca Connell, a hiker, was invited to enjoy the start of the month by crossing Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. Bears are among the most cautious and protective mother animals. As he turned a corner, he saw a big bear gently leading her four cubs across the road.
The cubs follow their mother into the forest, crossing the road one by one with their wobbly legs and tiny paws. Almost from a distance, a mother duck and her ducklings observe this family. Connell filmed the entire moment while keeping his distance, and hundreds of people watched and shared the impressive video on the internet.
