Childhood
Nick Vujicic was born into a Serbian migrant family in Melbourne. The long-awaited child came as a huge shock for the parents, because tetra-amelia is an extremely rare disease. Moreover, during pregnancy no problems were found in the fetus. After long sleepless nights, his parents made an important decision: to simply live for today, solving problems in small steps.
Nick’s family was very devout. Therefore, the child believed that if he prayed sincerely, God would help him. But soon the faith in his heart faded, and despair and disappointment took its place. Already at the age of 10, the boy was so severely depressed that he decided to take his own life. However, his love for his parents overpowered his determination. It was then that Nick decided that he would live a full life.
Further fate
Soon Nick insisted that he be transferred to a regular school. Alas, for a boy without arms and legs it turned out to be a living hell, because his peers could not tolerate someone who was so different from them. It was only thanks to going to Sunday school on weekends that he was able to endure everything. Moreover, this only strengthened his spirit more.
Years later he became a student at the University of Brisbane. By that time, he had undergone surgery, which gave him the semblance of toes on his left foot. Thanks to this, he learned to use a computer, fish and even surf. In addition, Vuychich learned to move around and serve himself in everyday life independently.

Vocation
Nick Vujicic entered adulthood with two higher education degrees, an unbroken spirit and a thirst for new discoveries. The man realized what strength awareness of his own illness gave him, and he decided to share this strength with others . He began preaching in churches, schools and prisons. And soon he became famous throughout the world by organizing motivational rallies.
In 2009, a short film was released starring Nick. And a year later, his first and most famous book, “Life without Borders: The Path to an Amazingly Happy Life,” will be published. Today Nick Vujicic attracts thousands of spectators, and people from all over the world sincerely thank him for his help. He also owns a charitable foundation that deals with global issues.

Happy father
Despite his physical limitations, Nick’s strength of personality couldn’t help but make people fall in love with him.
