The biggest newborn today was a baby from Indonesia: its weight may surprise you

Usually, children are born from 2.5 to 4 kilograms, and their normal height reaches 45-55 centimeters.

However, there are always exceptions.

Sometimes such little ones come into the world that it is difficult to call them little because their weight is from 6 to even 10 kilos.

It should be noted that the fattest child in the world was born in Ohio, USA, in the 19th century.

Her weight was 10.8 kilograms, but, unfortunately, the baby did not survive.

The biggest baby of the past century who weighed 10.2 kilos and who managed to survive, was born in Italy in 1955.

The biggest newborn today was a baby from Indonesia, named Muhammad Akbar Risuddin. The child was born in 2009.

Akbar’s parents, Hasanuddin and Ani said that before Akbar they gave birth to two big babies, but not so giant as Akbar.

“I was very surprised, I thought they were twins. When he came into the world, his body resembled that of a 9 or 10 month old baby.

He had trouble breathing when he was born, fortunately he is now in good condition,” said maternity doctor Binsar Sitanggang.

The birth of this boy in North Sumatra who weighed 8.7 kilograms surprised everyone.

Dozens of people went to the hospital where the child was born.

Akbar was considered Indonesia’s biggest newborn.
