A Vet Nurse Has an Adorable Way to Greet Pets Waking Up After Surgery

Waking up from anesthesia can be stressful for anyone – but perhaps even more so for animals, who wake up from sleep in an unfamiliar place after undergoing an operation.

Luckily, for the animals that veterinary nurse Alina Rojas cares for, she has a way of replacing that feeling of fear with a feeling of comfort and love.

Recently, Alina Rojas shared a video showing the adorable way she greets her furry patients — in this case, a dog named Bella.

Bella had been brought to the clinic in Rojas for a dental procedure, and it’s understandable that she was anxious about being there. Knowing that Bella might be scared when she woke up after the operation, Ms. Rojas used her heartfelt method to improve the situation.

She cradled Bella in her arms as she slowly came to.

A woman tries every day for a month to save this dog.
It worked like magic.

„As soon as Bella felt safe and knew no one would hurt her, she calmed down, but still wanted to be in my arms,“ Ms Rojas said.

Not all the animals Alina Rojas takes care of need that extra dose of tenderness, but she is always happy to provide it to those who need it.

“It’s the best form of therapy for me,” she says. “As a veterinary nurse, that’s exactly what I signed up to do: to help these babies physically and emotionally, and generally in any way possible. I love doing this and knowing that my comfort makes them feel safe.”
